If you have the switch off any Honda dealer or locksmith can easily make you a key using the key code on the lock. The key code is the last three letter/digits of the six digit code. Example: 345A56
Key code A56

SOURCE: the ignition quit working took

Hi,
Check the starter, wire connection harness and starter solenoid.
That high amp means a power that was being drain by the solenoid or the starter motor.
Disconnect the wire terminal of the starter and connect your ignition, you will see that it will not drain power from your battery and solve your fuse popping.
Then pull down the starter, overhaul it and clean/lubricate the bushing. If you can't do the starter a mechanic can do it for you.

Hope that helps you.

Ok I lost my chipped key but I have a unchipped key that will turn the ignition on but will not start my 2004 Taurus how can I start my car or what wires do I touch together

You can't. That only happens in the movies!

The chip in the key talks to the transponder in the steering column and the data from the key is sent to the ECM, BCM and PCM. If the data matches what it knows as registered, it sends power to the ignition module. It stops vehicles being stolen.

You need an auto locksmith or the dealership and a new chipped key, cut, and programmed. Have two made.

Your vehicle came with two chipped keys and a valet key, when the first chipped key is lost, you replace it so you always have a spare. Lesson learned.

99 Chrysler 330M the key will turn over but will not start

Around the steering ignition switch is a coil ,either its not connected ? been plugged back in or damaged on removal ,another possibility is the chip in the key has been lost or been wiped if left next to a mobile phone ,, older cars did suffer from this depending on make and model .. there is no way it will start if the ring coil is damaged or it hasnt been reconnected .. Only thing i can suggest if the ring is plugged in and i really do hate to say this, and that is take vehicle to main dealer ,,

Why won't my 2000 Cadillac escalade start? I lost my key 2 days ago..

Sounds like you are trying to fry your Escalade. There is an anti-theft system that requires the key be present in the ignition. If the key isnt it may be bent or altered somehow so it doesnt turn. Check to see of the steering wheel can move at all in either direction. There may be tension on the ignition that prevents the key from turning.

on the relay there will be a small wire that gets power when you turn the key to the start position
find that wire and connect it to the small terminal of the starter solenoid
then if you get it right , when you turn the key to start, power will get to the starter solenoid , energize the solenoid and the starter will engage
