Looking for the oil drain plug and the transmission drain plug on a 2001 Harley Davidson XL 1200 Custom

Usually the oil drain is one the left side of the bike somewhere below the battery. Look for a hose that has a plug in it or one that connects to the frame. Harley had moved this drain so many times in the past that it's difficult to keep up with where the oil drain is located. The transmission and primary share the same oil. To drain it, find the drain plug on the bottom of the primary just below the clutch. Pour the new oil in the primary chain inspection hole of the primary.

Wher isthe drain plug for engine oil on 2009 dyna super glide

The engine oil is carried in a pan underneath the transmission. The plug to drain the oil is also underneath the transmission. It's usually the plug that is the on the left front corner of the pan.

Just bought 2005 chrysler pacifica. need to know where oil plug is.what size wrench for oil plug.wher oil filter is . is there any special thing i need to know.

I recommend VERY Highly that you get the Haynes Repair manual on the vehicle. It will provide Step by step instructions for basic stuff like Oil Changes and Tune Ups and the intervals for these. As for you question. The oil Drain plug is located on teh oil pan at the bottom of the vehicle, The oil Filter is located on the Firewall side of the engine, and other than understanding how to properly install an oil Filter and to use the correct oil there isn't much to it. Oh, the oil drain plug should be a 13 or 14 mm.

For a 2001 Harley Ultra Classic where is the oil drain plug located

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs, one for the engine oil and one for transmission lube. The engine oil drain is the one closest to the left front of the oil tank. The drain that is more in the center is the transmission drain.

What is the drain plug between the shocks?

That is the transmission drain plug. It is just like the drain plug used to drain the oil from the oil tank. In fact, it uses the same size o-ring as the engine oil plug.

To fill the transmission, remove the chrome plug with a 5/16" hex head on it. Yours should take 22 oz. of 75w-90 gear oil to top off. Just make sure it is completely drained before refilling.
