I would unplug the fuel pump, then see if the fuse still bows. Then move to the ignitor box, when the fuse doesn't blow, you have found the circut that has an issue. Just figure out what the issue is and fix it.
These may seem obvious questions but have you checked any fuses? How old is the battery and is it fully charged? Sometimes an older battery can appear fully charged but is weak when 'under load'.
read the tire sidewall. call your local service department that services your make and model. That would be a Kawasaki dealer I believe. The air pressure in motorcycle tires can go down one psi per week as cars can go down one psi per month.
Better to check with tire manufacturer for actual specs to compare to what the dealer tells you.
CHASE YOUR POWER FROM THE BATTERY TO THE SOLENOID AND THE STARTER, IS IT IN NEUTRAL , MOVE THE BIKE BACK AND FORTH, MOVE EASILY CHECK THE NUETRAL SWITCH ON THE ENGINE IS IT GROUNDED.
YOUR FLYWHEEL PROVIDES POWER TO THECDI , THESE ARE TWO WIRES ,ONE OFWHICH IS THE MAIN STATOR OUTPUT THE OTHER BEING THE TRIGGER WIRE., YOU THEN HAVE TWO EARTH WIRES AND TWO COIL POSITIVE .WHY DO YOU SUSPECT THE CDI THOUGH,HAVE YOU CHECKED THE KILL SWITCH OR THE SIDE STAND SWITCH, THESE ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE THE CULPRIT
Check fuel pump is working(remove seat and tank)Although your bike has carbs, they are fed by a fuel pump(under seat and tank)
if there is no fuel getting pumped when you are cranking over, replace fuel pump relay(cheapest option)If still no joy your fuel pump is u/s.although hondas have a seperate small vacume type hose running off the back of the pump, any pump off a kawasaki zx7/zx9 will do the job(they are all made by the same firm)
