I have 2000 740il 4.4. Engine light, ABS and Traction control light stays on. Lately, whole engine shakes when start cold and once the rpm come to normal or idle and I press gas, the engine missies. If I put in drive and start to roll, Engine light srart to blink and whole front end shakes as though only 1 or 2 cylinders are running. Once it gets warm for about 10 mins. it runs as though it does not have any problum. Some suggest, vac. manifold, or Air Mass Sensor, anybody who had this issue please let me know, it would be a great help.

Try to disconnect the Air Flow Meter. It is the first plug just before the air filter/air intake box. If this improves your situation you will need to source a new or aftermarket Air Flow Meter.

Your oil is a little low, and the timing may be off a bit but if it smooths out after warm it is probably ljust
low oil.

Sounds like a fuel problem , have you changed the fuel filter in a while ? could be the knock sensor or the knock sensor module needs to be replaced.

Sounds like you're running rich.

First, change the air filter, and check that the air intake isn't blocked somewhere.

If that doesn't sort it out, it's the carb. They have an automatic choke (cold start), which could be sticking on and causing problems.

One thing it isn't is the timing belt (sorry Satanscash) as this engine doesn't have one... and even if it did, failure of the belt results in a very dead engine!
