I have a xv 1600 wildstar, its been stood for a year, batt is ok turned it over and just get a rapid click from under the batt compartment, took off the side cover on the left hand side and can touch a component and feel it clicking can you help me? Can fix this or do i need a new component if so what is it i need? Thank you.

Hi, sounds like,the battery does not have enough charge to turn over the motor,thats when you get the clicking noise,,,give the battery a good charge and you will be ok.

Sounds like the main jet fell out in the carb. Take the float bowl off and see if it is laying in the bottom.

the ignition key is the release for the seat, insert the key and turn it anti clockwise making sure not to put the steering lock on.
