do you check the egr valve or the selenoid ........ look with the engine runing pull the trotle cable to rev the engine check the diagram from the egr valve is going to move at all times and the engine is going to missfire ........ then desconect the little hose from the egr selenoid rev the engine 2000 rpm you will see the diference
Just check on your air ducts. When the bike is staionery it will idle rev and even run well on the dyno, but on the open road the airducts must be in and instadled or mounted correctly
That means that you are choosing where will the yellow "shifting" ligth turn on. For F1 maybe it's bad fuel ar psark plugs or something like that, ar maybe power commander doesn't give right amount of fuel...
Are all the plugs properly tightened & are all the leads on properly give them all agood firm push occasionally they can feel like they are on & besitting lose on top is the air filter element sitting correctly It may be causing an obstuction of the air intake if you have used an after market air filter it could be that it is heavier than the standard item & restricting air flow
ok we really need more info. what color smoke is veh overheating. One thing for sure if veh is smoking you are going to have a clogged converter take a front o2 sensor out and see if the engine will rev. if so must fix smoking problem it will be fuel or oil if blueish color or if it is white could be head gasket.let me know a i can help you
If you haven't done a tune up within the last year, it's time to do so. Check your spark plug wires, they may be bad already and arcing inside the engine block causing a missfire. Also, replace the plugs, cap and rotor.
