Sounds like carb issue,if your plugs are good and valve clearances correct.

186 red motor. Why does it have a missfire under load?

Engine is under max load in the situations you describe, so any weakness in spark or low fuel prssure can cause this, even a weak ignition module.

Zx6r erratic throttle

Just check on your air ducts. When the bike is staionery it will idle rev and even run well on the dyno, but on the open road the airducts must be in and instadled or mounted correctly

Missfire on kawasaki zx6r j1 after mini service, plugs oil and filter air filter, bike ticks over fine but hesitates and missfires when revved oved 5000rpm

Are all the plugs properly tightened & are all the leads on properly give them all agood firm push occasionally they can feel like they are on & besitting lose on top is the air filter element sitting correctly It may be causing an obstuction of the air intake if you have used an after market air filter it could be that it is heavier than the standard item & restricting air flow

I have a 1997 civic dx and it has a sputtering from engine

If you haven't done a tune up within the last year, it's time to do so. Check your spark plug wires, they may be bad already and arcing inside the engine block causing a missfire. Also, replace the plugs, cap and rotor.
