When you go to sell your bike again peeps would prefer to see a dealer mark as most dont trust someone else doing it them selfs and it wouldnt hold up should something go wrong best to have the mark for resale take it to the garage tell them you did a bit on it then ask if they could look it over may cost a bob but would be worth it best of luck

Just bought a r6, key doesn't work right. the bike is stuck in the steering lock position, where do i get a new key that fits right. original ignition on bike.

your bast bet is to contact a main dealer they will want reg,vin and engine number to order you a new key dont disconect the ignition because if there is a moblizer on it you will need to reprogramme the brain will work out exspensive, contact main dealer first

954 fireblade splutters at 7000 rpm

1ST of all i think you should take your bike to another dealer to get it fixed as they should be able / confident mechanics to repair any problem.
But anyway have you checked the throttle position sensor ? of the fuel injector connections ?

12,000 mile maintenance

Google " service manuals BMW "
or go to www.repairmanuals.com

Check with the dealer. He may have one on hand. Try your local library. Often guys will donate manuals to the library, but your bike is pretty new so the library is doubtfull. The money you will save on the service work you do just this one time will pay for the manual.
