If the tail light comes on , then it may be the headlight bulb,so try with high and low beam
if the tail light bulb doesnt come on, then it can be a fuse, relay, switch block, ignition switch, broken wire, bad corrector and the list continues, so it is out with the multi meter and test light and some electrical knowledge to track it down.
Sorry
but headlihgt wont come on , requires a differnt answer to "the wiring completely burt out, and has been mostly replaced , but not sure on where some of them go".
It wont work without an earth, they normally attach to the frame near the battery, and loop also to one of the engine bolts on the rear of the engine.
Im not trying to con money from anyone, I believe all you need to do is inform fixit during checkout that it did not solve the problem satisfactorily, I have not control over billing, and no acces to cancell anything, fixit control all billing and apparently send me money after their cut and when every one is happy.

SOURCE: help channging the front wheel on a kawasaki ninga
By "changing the front wheel" do you mean how do you remove the wheel from the bike? If so, Start by securing the motorcycle in a upright position and place a jack under the engine with a wood protector between the jack and engine. Raise the motorcycle until the front tire is just touching the ground. Remove both brake calipers then loosen and remove the axle nut. Now remove the axle clamp and slide the axle out of the wheel. Note how the speedometer gear is mounted before pulling the axle. Now raise the motorcycle until the tire assembly will clear the fender. Reassembly is exact reverse of removal with the exception of when you install the axle you will tighten the axle nut before you tighten the axle clamp.
SOURCE: headlights and tailight are out it is not the fuse
look at your starter switch, headlight cut off
SOURCE: how do i gt to
YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE SEAT, TANK AND AIR BOX, THE PLUGS ARE LOCATED IN THE CYLINDER HEAD THE PLUG CAPS COMPLETELY COVER THE HOLE IN THE HEAD THE PLUG SITS IN, (TIP) DO 1 PLUG AT A TIME MAKING SURE YOU REPLACE THE CAP BEFORE YOU DO THE NEXT 1, THIS WAY YOU WONT MIX UP THE LEADS, REMEMBER THE PLUGS SIT IN A DEEP HOLE AND ARE QUITE EASILY CROSS THREADED, REFIT USING CORRECT SPANNER BY HAND, TO START WITH WHEN YOU ARE SURE THE PLUG IS IN CORRECT THEN FINNISH OFF TO THE CORRECT TIGHTNESS WITH A WRENCH
