Hi,

You made a mistake sorry, should have not put oil in. Take it straight back to shop, ask them on phone what type of oil they put in, say you want it in writing. Don't tell them why yet. Then, with a witness, drain some oil as a sample, get witness to keep it. Then take bike to shop and tell them what happened. Drain oil sample at shop to compare, if they don't rebuild your motor, tell them you have a sample to take to analyst etc etc.

Thanks,

Adam.

my point is that they hopefully say they put different oil in it? First thank them for doing the oil change, just to get them to admit they drained the oil.

How often do you change the oil on a 2002 Suzuki vs 800 intruder

Hi, it all depends on the type of riding you do. Mr Suzuki advises 4,000 miles between oil changes. This is OK if you do a lot of miles every time you ride. If you do a lot of short journey's then you need to to do more frequent oil changes. I normally do an oil change every 2,000 to 2,500 miles as I do a lot of short trips. One of my bikes has no cam shaft bearings and I do an oil change every 1,000 to 1,500 miles regardless.

Hope this helps.

Electrical Dies when I start

You have to check the battery cables for corrosion and loose connections , from your description tht of when hitting the starter button you loose all connections thts a typical sympton of loose connection especially on the main wire.
Go through the complete wiring and connections of your bike and spray WD-40 to all connections it will help clean up.

Good luck.
