COULD BE FAULTY STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER. CHECK THEFT DETERRENT RELAY.SCAN WITH CODE SCANNER FOR THEFT SECURITY TROUBLE CODES.IF ALL IS GOOD.SHIFT TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRAL SEE IF IT WILL CRANK.FAULTY NEUTRAL SWITCH WILL CAUSE NO START PROBLEMS.
To check the starter solenoid, run a jumper wire from the postive battery post to the starter solenoid terminal. Its the terminal on the starter with just one small wire connected to it. when you jump it directly with battery power it should crank the engine if the solenoid and starter are working. If the solenoid just clicks but there's no cranking, the battery may be run down or the starter motor is bad.
If the starter works with the above jumper rig then you may have ignition key problems or the starter relay is bad.
