LET BIKE SIT FOR 5 MIN. STAND BIKE STRAIGHT UP.(WITH OUT KICK STAND TOUCHING GROUND) LOOK ON RIGHT SIDE OF BIKE THROUGH SIGHT GLASS. OIL SHOULD BE HALF TO A LITTLE ABOVE CENTER OF GLASS
the oil filler cap is on the r/h side of the engine as you are sat on bike...just above the r/h foot peg..its on the clucth cover...at the bottom of this is also the sight glass for how much oil is in the engine
that would show water mixing with the oil, showing that the head gasket has a leak. if you are not losing power, it may be just a leak from the coolant into the oilway and could be fixed with a stop-a-leak product. search on e-bay for "engine addatives" and you should see quite a few to choose from.
Use 10W40 semi synthetic oil, filler is on the right hand side engine case.
Check level in the sight glass below the filler cap with bike stood upright.
