NO, they use a dry clutch, sometimes referred to a Dry Sump Clutch. The friction of the discs is what makes the clutch work, if there was oil in there the clutch would no longer function.

I hold in the clutch on my 2003 CR 125 and kick it but it still knocks like it is in gear. I just changed the clutch cable and it is still rideable so it is not the transmission. Clutch basket?

i would say the clutch itself could be worn out ? maybe you need to replace the clutch? hope this helps... i would say either clutch basket or clutch plates....hope this helps

How do i know i need a new clutch and clutch basket in my 2002 cr 125

Clutch friction plates are often the worn out component of that assembly. IF the plates don't spline in correctly with the basket due to some physical damage, then you should replace the basket. The clutch is comprised of an inner and outer hub that become interlocked through metal disks and friction disks pressed together under spring pressure.

Clutch slipping

Clutch plates are probably toasted. Drain the oil, remove the cover where the clutch cable goes into and check them out. Not hard to replace but you do need a special tool to get the plates off/on.

Bike wont start even on a roll start when in gear it feels like the clutch is half working i can still kick and scange gear

the clutch plates and friction plates are getting worn, or your clutch cable is in need of adjustment

Clutch is grabing

sounds like clutch disks are in need of replacement. your clutch is slipping when under a heavy load. if you have adusted the cable properly, then i would focus on the clutch friction disks. these are designed to wear as they transfer power from the engine to the transmission.

drain the oil and remove the side cover to access the clutch basket. you'll need a new side cover gasket as well as a new clutch pack (friction & metal).
