I haven't seen one of those for 40 years!

The Braided cable goes to battery negative -
They normally have a Red Cable to the battery Positive +
And if I recall, there is an inline fuse in the positive?

Chassis number and vin number should be the same it's mostly found on front fork support on bike.

Honestly Honda makes many diffrent size Head bearings as well as do other manufacture's, id would consult Honda regarding the size of your specific Year and bike's head bearing's they have all the spec's on it and should gladly tell you what size your bike require's Hope this helps Steve
