Chain oil dryes up after a little while , is there a vent hole somewhere ?? chas

I suspect the hole is a tank vent hole. If the tank is hot and full, the oil inside expands and will come out of that hole. There is an oil tank vent assembly, and seems to be above the filler cap. The sears website diagrams are old sketches, hard to read.

If there is a little hole at the top of the chain bar sprocket--this is where you lubricate the sprocket on your bar--if you don't have the little hole by the sprocket then your bar is sealed and dont need to lube the sprocket--but make sure you have oil in your chainsaw's oil tank--that lubes the bar--chain oil is a must--dont use a chainsaw without it--unless you like to replace your chain and bar on a regular basis..

take off the side cover over the chain clutch/drive, don't forget to loosen the chain tension before removing, clean thoroughly, clean oil ports on saw and on the chain bar (little holes)clean the chain bar. Start the saw with the chain and bar removed and you should see oil coming from the port on the engine. Reassemble

Look-up the UT-43103 IPL. There is no provision to adjust the oil flow. Suggest checking the oil lines for loose or broken areas; also could replace the oil pump. These are very inexpensive parts. here is a link to the parts list and source for the parts.

are you referring to the chain that is cutting the wood if so you might need to loosen the nut that holds the bar on and there should be a screw to the right between the bar and the motor housing loosen it and that will allow the chain to loosen you should have a little play in the chain dont make it banjo tight or it will bindup and not move and if it is not receving oil you might have to take off the bar and chain off and there are two holes in the little grove that the chain goes into maybe use something small like a paper clip and there should be a hole in the top and bottom of the bar that let oil flow through if you run the paperclip down the little groove you will hit the little hole clean it out after cleaning out reinstall and make sure before you cut that the chain is a little loose and you can see oil spraying off it lightly hopes this helps

check your vent inside the home and outside,, if the air doesn't circulate it will not dry ,, take the vent hose off and run it a cycle, it will be alittle dusty but this will let you know if it is the vent or not,, please do not run it with the vent off for more than one cycle,, if it dryes with the vent off you have a clog somewhere

Remove the side cover, bar and chain. Clean the side oil port and any passages connected. Use compressed air to blow out the oiling passages in the drive end of the bar including the small ports that connect the chain guide slot to the larger holes in the bar. Run the motor for a short time without the bar and chain, there should be oil that oozes out of the side port. If not, then the pump, the filter in the oil tank, and the intervening oil line needs to be checked. When everything is back together, the far end of the bar should throw off a fine line of oil on a piece of cardboard after running for a little while. Hope this helps!

If the dryer heats , dry a load without the duct on . If it dryes fine , then problem still with vent somewhere .

THE FIRST THING I WOULD CHECK IS THE BREATHER IT HAS TO LET AIR IN SOMEWHERE AS THE OIL FLOWS OUT IT MAY BE CLOGGED TRY RUNNING THE SAW WITH THE OIL CAP OF DONT DO ANY CUTTING JUST RUNSEE IF IT OILS THEN IF NOT MOST SAWS HAVE A OIL FLOW ADJUSTMENT SCREW TAKE THE BAR OFF AND LOOK AROUND WERE THE OIL COMES OUT THE ONLY OTHER THING IT MAY BE IS A CLOG IN THE LINE
