Follow this steps on how to replace the spark plugs,

    1. Locate your spark plugs before beginning. Accessing the spark plugs can vary greatly depending on the model of motorcycle. The Ninja series bikes place the spark plugs near the top of the motor, hidden beneath the fuel tank and air box.

    2. Remove the seat and fuel tank. Locate the bolts that secure the fuel tank to the frame and remove them with a socket wrench. Lift the fuel tank upwards and disconnect the fuel lines. Pull the entire tank away from the motorcycle and set it aside.

  • 3. Unscrew the air box lid with a screwdriver and remove. Remove the air filter and locate the bolts that secure the air box to the motor. Unscrew the bolts with a screwdriver and pull the air box off of the motor. Take note of the locations of any wiring or hoses that may be attached to the air box before disconnecting them.

    4. Pull the spark plug wire off of the first spark plug and clear the plug cavity with compressed air to remove dirt or debris that may been trapped. Remove the spark plug with a spark-plug socket. If needed, use a socket extension to reach the spark plug in the cavity.

    5. Insert a new spark plug into the cavity and carefully tighten with a spark plug socket. Slide the spark plug wire onto the end of the spark plug and press down until the wire clicks into place.

    6. Repeat as necessary for any remaining spark plugs. Reinstall the air box and reconnect any hoses or wiring removed earlier. Insert the air filter into the air box and seal the lid by tightening its bolts with a screwdriver

    7. Reinstall the fuel tank, reconnecting the fuel lines and tightening the mounting bolts with a socket wrench. Replace the seat.

    Thank you

For the ZX12R remove the lower fairings and reach under the frame/airbox and disconnect the wires from the coil packs and remove the packs. With a plug socket and short extension remove the plugs from the holes where the coil packs were located.

I have a 1989 mitsubishi eclipse USA import can't get spark to the spark plugs replaced coil which is in distributor and replaced the distributor still no spark can anyone help ?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your 1989 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Here are a few things that you can check to try to get spark to the spark plugs: Check the spark plug wires: The spark plug wires can become damaged over time, which can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the spark plug wires for any cracks or breaks. If you find any damage, replace the spark plug wires. Check the spark plugs: The spark plugs can also become fouled or damaged over time, which can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs and inspect them for any damage. If you find any damage, replace the spark plugs. Check the ignition coil: The ignition coil is responsible for generating the spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. If the ignition coil is faulty, it can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the ignition coil for any damage or signs of wear. If you find any damage, replace the ignition coil. Check the distributor cap and rotor: The distributor cap and rotor are responsible for distributing the spark from the ignition coil to the spark plugs. If the distributor cap or rotor is faulty, it can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the distributor cap and rotor for any damage or signs of wear. If you find any damage, replace the distributor cap and rotor. If you have checked all of these things and you are still not getting spark to the spark plugs, it is possible that there is a problem with the engine's computer. In this case, it is best to take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair. Here are some tips to help prevent these problems from happening in the future: Change your spark plugs and spark plug wires according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Keep your engine clean and well-maintained. Avoid running your vehicle on low fuel. If you notice any problems with your vehicle's performance, have it checked out by a qualified mechanic as soon as possible.

How do you replace spark plugs on f150 4.6 2007

It can be faulty or dirty spark plug itself. Also for reference get the fuel level checked. Is the fuel tank is empty or near to empty.
Try cleaning the spark plugs and then see if that is helping. On some cases the black carbon layer gets collected on the spark plugs and that causes the problem, so cleaning the plugs help. But if its not helping, then spark plug has to be replaced. Spark plugs get power from ignition coil to ignite sparks. If ignition coils are faulty then also there will no spark. --------------

How to replace spark plugs in a kia sorento

The 2006 KIA Sorento is a smaller SUV with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine uses six spark plugs to run the engine properly. There will be three spark plugs on each side of the engine. All six spark plugs will need to be changed at the same time to ensure that all six are working equally. The spark plugs are in plain sight on the right and left side of the engine and have rubber wires connected to the top of each one.
  1. 1 Insert the edge of the spark-plug gapping tool under the meal arm in the center of the one of the new spark plugs and turn the gapper until the number .038 is in the center of the metal arm. Repeat this for all other new spark plugs.
  2. 2 Open the hood of the 2006 KIA Sorento and remove a rubber wire from one of the spark plugs. Use the ratchet and spark-plug socket to remove that spark plug from the engine.
  3. 3 Insert the new spark plug into the hole where the old plug was. Hand-tighten the new spark plug until you are certain it is seated properly, then tighten it further using the ratchet and spark-plug socket. Replace the rubber wire to the top of the new spark plug.
  4. 4 Repeat for all other new spark plugs. Once you have replaced all six spark plugs and replace the rubber wires to the tops of them, close the hood.

Spark plugs

On the 3.5L the Electronic Coil Packs are located over the Cylinders/Spark Plugs.
These Coil Packs have seven (7) bolts on a Black Cover. Remove these seven (7) bolts, removing the Cover.
Access to the three (3) Front Spark Plugs is now gained.
The Rear three (3) Spark Plugs is the same, however it is in a tight spot near the Fire Wall.

Standard Rules: Some things are not Applicable for your specific engine.
Use a Spark Plug Socket to remove and install Spark Plugs.

Replace (remove) one Wire Connections at a time from one Spark Plug.
Replace One Spark Plug at a time. Use Anti-Seize Grease applied moderately to the threads on the new Spark Plug.
Using a Socket (with a extension) START all installations of all Sprak Plugs using your hands. This prevents cross-threading and stripping of the threads inside the Heads.
Standard Torque 15-20 ft-lbs.
Replace the One Wire Connection to that One Spark Plug.
Replace that One Wire Connection to the Ignition Coil Connection.
Go onto the next Spark Plug using the above Rules.
Repeat.

For the 3.5L
Firing Order:
1-2-3-4-5-6
Cylinders:
.....(back)
1......3.......5
2......4.......6
....(front)
