Sounds like the unit is stuck in ship mode
or the loading gear is bad they make click click like 5 times

radio needs to be repair there is no easy fix for this
the other solution is just leave along and trasfer all your cd's to mp3 or ipod
there is factory auxiliary input for ford radios with the AUX button

Cd changer error on cd player and it wont operate 2006 Torrent

Changer problems are very common in the Torrent. These radios are very specific to the Torrent and specific to 2006. i usually take the stereo apart and replace the cd changer drive, replace it and then reinstall the stereo back into vehicle.. These Radios are programmed directly into data stream so you can remove the radio and reinstall it without having to get a code for it to work. But if you try and install a different stereo from another torrent it will have to be programmed to your vehicle before it will be able to work.

Hi i have a Honda Accord 2006 SE. It has a 6 disc CD changer and it had been working fine. Suddenly now i am seeing CR ERR message and CDs dont play anymore. Whenever i turn on the CD player it says CD...

Personally I would just replace the radio. In dash changers go bad easily and are basically just a problem waiting to happen. The average life span of an in dash changer is about two years.

I have the same problem error 4 in my lexus rx330 please help me

I just left the Lexus dealership w/ my ES 330 (my changer reads "Error 3" upon starting my car, it also makes a loud ticking noise); go figure, the mechanic/technician there informed me that I need another motor for my disk changer - Merry Christmas and hello $675!

After turning your car off for about an hour or so, the cd player is supposed to reset itself enabling you to retrieve your cd's. Attribute this to having utilized burned cd's.

6-cd changer says error 3 and won't eject CDs

hi i recently bought a lexus ls400 and it the trunk it has a ten disc cd changer by the steering wheel in the car is this little black box that keeps reading E-99 evertime i press play on this odd little box that is the control device to make the cd's play i've put the cd 's in the changer upside down right side up testing it and still the little black cd player play button/disc change button keeps saying E-99 my question is, is it a fuse or is this cd player thing near the stearing wheel just a peiece of garbage please contact me at [email protected] if you have any idea why this is doing this because i can't play any cd's theres no cd player where the cd/tape decks usually are in cars in the middle above the column shift. it would mean the world to me if you could help me out with any information as to why this brand new sony ten disc cd changer is giving issues to the cd player thing next to the stearing wheel on the right it's kind of hidden but it just won't stop saying e-99 no matter how brand new a cd i put in the changer thank you your friend john bunce

Mercedes benz ml320

Depending on the year of your ML, there are two types of CD players. The changer in the back of the vehicle or the single CD player, part of the stereo.
Rear mounted CD changer, disconnect power for several minutes, this can act as a reset and bring the changer back to working.
Dash mounted CD player, may have Nav too. Again, depending on the year of the vehicle, there are some players that require some modifications at the repair level. Bosch, one of the manufacturers to be specific, for these units.
