2007 Keeway Fact 50 will not start just has clicking noise

I have a Keeway fact 50. The bike keeps intermittently dying when it has been driven for a while. After it dies and I try to start it there is a strange clicking coming from the rear of the bike. Just before this problem started happening the indicators would flash like crazy when activated but that is gone now since it started dying. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.@

SOURCE: 2 stroke engine smokes. how do you adjust the fuel/oil mixture?

The thing with two strokes is that they smoke a bit under normal operation, and they smoke like mad if they haven't really been run for a period of time, I would advise you to run it for a while and see if that helps.

You should not need to adjust the mixture settings at all.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: Keeway Arn 150 - not dependably keeping a charge

bad rectifier.  Whats the voltage across the battery with the motor revved?  It should be about 14.4 Volts DC if its not, replace the voltage rectifier and the voltage regulator.

SOURCE: my keeway wont start

Check the fuses. Is the kill switch on or shorting out? Disconnect it and then check for spark. Sidestand/centerstand should be up, Got a good battery?

I am unfamiliar with your Keeway and just trying to help. Don't give me a bad rating if I miss the mark on this one. Thanks.

SOURCE: Keeway fact 50 2008 just turns over but not starting

What exactly is it doing when you try to start it? A slow, lazy start is commonly a low charged or weak battery. Just spinning and not trying to start is often a 'No Spark' issue. Turning, trying to start but stalling out is usually a fuel supply problem.

Scooter runs bad after half throttle its a keeway f act 50

It's all in how you ride it....we have a Roketa Maui with a 100 BBK...and it has lasted over 4,000 miles so far. If you do full throttle take offs and run and wide open throttle constantly...even the 50 and 80 engines are being abused. I know many customers that have them...and yet to see a crank failure. Sure they do ride WOT at times...but they take it up there gradually.. not just grab full throttle and go. People tend to forget the angine itself was designed as a 72cc...but bored to 50cc to be sold in America...so the 80 BBK should never cause you a problem. I worked on one for a kid that had the 80 kit..and he has 9,400 miles on it...all he needed was a belt when brought it to me.

How long does the battery last on the Keeway Fact 50 ?

How long is a piece of string, depends on the amount of use it gets, the generator and voltage regulator producing a steady and constant charge, how well you look after it, (keeping it topped up, contacts clean etc). All being well and good I would say about five years any more than this and you are in bonus territory.

Recently I purchased a keeway Fact 50 2010 and had it in for service because of a fouled spark plug. They adjusted the idling rpm from 1700 to 3400 it seems that it is putting a huge strain on the breaks...

Hey,, you need to find a QUALIFIED professional to work on your scooter... and yea,, the "dealer" you previously used seems to have a NON-QUALIFIED mechanic...
