Cannot remove battery cover. it seems to be lodged under the frame

It depends on which model you have. The integrated model would most likely have the frame lodged inside the kitchen panels. The freestanding model should simply pull out after removing inlet and drain hose and power connection.

YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE LEFT SIDE COVER THAT COVERS BATTERY
THEN REMOVE SCREWS FROM BATTERY POSTS THE NEGITIVE IS UNDER THE FRAME BUT IS ACCESSIBLE. THERE IS A RUBBER BAND HOLDING THE BATTERY IN PLACE ONCE THIS IS REMOVED BATTERY SLIDES OUT.

WARNING: Keep body from under the auxiliary or secondary battery when disconnecting or reconnecting the auxiliary battery safety straps since the battery weighs 50 pounds and bodily injury can result. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

1. CAUTION: Failure to accurately follow the battery disconnect procedures described in this section may result in vehicle or component damage.
   NOTE: The preferred method of service requires the use of a floor hoist to lift the vehicle overhead, and a transmission jack to support and lower the auxiliary battery case.
   NOTE: The auxiliary battery can be charged while the auxiliary battery safety straps are connected to the vehicle. Follow the procedures up to and including disconnection of the auxiliary battery cables.
   Disable the vehicle electrical supply. For additional information, refer to Dual Battery Disconnect in this section.

1. Remove the 2 auxiliary battery cable harness screws retaining the harness to the frame.

1. Support the bottom of the auxiliary battery and case with a transmission jack.

1. CAUTION: To prevent possible damage to the auxiliary battery case, cover the battery cables during the lowering process. It is recommended to loosen the auxiliary battery case cover bolts before lowering the battery box.
   Remove the auxiliary battery case from the frame.
   1. Remove the upper RH auxiliary case -to- frame bolt.
   1. Loosen, but do not remove, the 3 remaining battery case-to-frame bolts.
   1. Raise the battery case up and to the right to dislodge the battery case from the 3 remaining bolts.

1. Lower the auxiliary battery and case until tension is present on the safety straps.

1. Remove the 2 bolts and disengage the battery case cover.

1. Remove the auxiliary battery cables.

1. Remove the 2 auxiliary battery case safety strap to frame bolts.

1. Remove the hold-down wedge.

1. WARNING: When lifting a battery, excessive pressure on the end walls could cause acid to spew through the vent caps, resulting in personal injury. Lift with a battery carrier or with your hands on opposite corners. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
   Support the battery and case with a transmission jack. Disengage the safety straps and roll the auxiliary battery and case on the transmission jack away from the vehicle.

The Dyna battery can be removed by:
1. Remove the seat.
2. Remove negative connection at frame, and positive connection at battery.
3. Remove the lower rear bolt. (left side of battery box at frame upright)
4. Remove the upper rear bolt, and swing down the battery box.
5. Remove the top cover, nad side cover.
6. Lift battery out, and remove negative cable from battery.

If you mean the climate control blower motor, it's usually under the dash on the passenger side on Hondas.

1990-93 Accord

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. If so equipped, disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
2. Remove the glove box.

4. If not equipped with air conditioning:
   1. Remove the three screws and remove the heater duct.
   2. Remove the blower mounting nuts. Unplug the wiring from the blower motor, resistor and recirculation control motor, then remove the blower assembly.
5. If equipped with air conditioning:
   1. Lift the carpet in the passenger compartment. Remove the side cover (kick panel).
   2. Remove the control unit bracket nuts; unplug the five connectors and remove the control unit bracket.
   3. Remove the retaining band, then remove the blower lower covers. Do not break the tabs on the lower covers.
   4. Remove the retaining nuts and remove the blower assembly. Fig. 3: Air conditioned models require the removal of the control unit. Handle it carefully

      To install:
      
6. Install the blower unit and tighten the retaining nuts.
7. On air conditioned vehicles:
   1. Install the lower covers and the retaining band.
   2. Install the control unit bracket and carefully engage the wiring connectors to their proper location.
   3. Install the kick panel and reposition the carpet.
8. Connect the wiring to the blower assembly. For non-air conditioned vehicles, install the air duct and tighten the screws.
9. Install the glove box frame and install the glove box. Note that some of trim on the frame is held with 2-sided tape; replace the tape when reassembling as necessary.
10. If applicable, enable the SRS.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.

1988-91 Prelude

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove box and frame (lower support).
3. Remove the 4 screws and remove the heater duct. Fig. 5: The glove box and frame are secured by several small screws
   
   
4. Remove the 3 mounting bolts.
5. Unplug the wiring connectors from the blower motor, resistor and recirculation controller. Remove the blower motor assembly.
6. Reinstall in reverse order. Make certain the blower mating surfaces are tightly sealed.

Under the seat. You either have to take off a side cover to remove the battery out the side of the bike, or take off the side covers and remove the seat to lift the battery up out of the frame.

On the older wide glides, you had to remove the seat. There were two bolts between the battery box and the rear fender on the outside. Loosen, but don't remove these two bolts. Back under the seat just inside the frame was a "jack bolt". Turn the bolt Counterclockwise and the battery tray would lower, Clockwise to raise it back up. Once lowered, top cover and outer cover would come off the battery. I hope this helps.

No, the engine does NOT have to come out of the frame.

First, disconnect the battery. Drain the primary cover, remove the shifter, foot peg, loosen the primary chain adjuster under the outer cover, whatever needs to be removed depending on your model Sportster to get the primary cover off.

From the right side of the bike, remove the exhaust system and whatever you need to remove to get the starter off. Disconnect the large battery cable and the single wire from the starter.

Back on the left side, there are two large bolts just above the clutch assembly, remove them. They may be different lengths so watch for that. Remove the starter.
