The reason the bike shuts down when you remove the negative cable is because you are removing half the circuit.Go and get yourself a volt meter that will do volts DC.Start the bike up and and with the leads on the appropriate terminals have a friend bring the bike off idle and read the voltage. You should get somewhere between 13 to 14.4 volts.Anything less than this means you are not charging up the battery.Good Luck

08 gsxr turned off while idling and wouldn't turn back over

When the engine is idling, the alternator is not charging. Starting the bike will drain a weak battery. A fast idle (1000 rpm or so) will quickly recharge the battery. If the battery is dead and the alternator is not charging the bike will not run. Check the connections at the battery. Remove and clean them. Check the main fuse and all other fuses. (The temp indication may be a false reading due to other problems.)

Went to put gsxr 600 k7 away and stalled it then had no power not even lights

Sounds like your battery has become disconnected or is damaged (dead) or isn't charging from the bike.
Try putting a charger on the battery overnight and see if you have lights in the morning.
If you do, then measure the voltage at the battery before and after starting the bike.
If the voltage is the same or less after starting, then there's something wrong in the charging circuit.
This could be a regulator, or rectifier etc.
If the voltage DID go up after starting, then it may be time to replace the battery.

I have a 2006 gsxr 600 if i jump start it , it will start but when i disconnect the cables it turn off

Sounds like either the battery is dead, or one of the connections to it is corroded. Remove the battery from the bike, check the water levels (replace low water with distilled water, not tap water), place it on a low-current charger for at least 12 hours. Clean and check the wiring and terminals that connect to the battery. If the battery is any good, it should now start the bike and keep it running. With the engine running, read the battery voltage with a DC voltmeter--it should read at least 13.5 volts. If it only reads 12.6 volts or less, then the bike charging system requires service. Hope this helps!

Bike runs but when i try to start it the battery is dead

Do a voltage test at the battery to see how it is charging, it sounds like it is not... You should charge at 14.5 volts. Start the bike with the voltmeter connected and see what it does for voltage drop and see how it recovers after it is started. If it doesn't come up in voltage possible regulator rectifier or worse case bad stator.

2002 gsxr 600 bike shuts off

Did you put a full charge on the battery b4 you put it in? The charging system really dose not charge until like 4 or 5 thousand RPM's. So just starting it in the garage doesnt really charge the battery. Put a full charge on it and it should be fine. Also buy a trickle charger. It will keep this from happening again. Its a commonly over looked issue. If it dies again going around town the replace the stator. ( left side of motor )

Suzuki gsxr 600 06 starting problems

200° is quite warm...
If the engine wont turn over, probabily you have a bad battery, a bad starter or a bad starter relay, or bad connections.

A hot engine has more compression. If the full battery power doesn't reach the starter it won't turn over...
