Hi Sheila, i'm glad to help. 99 Durango's with thew 5.2 liter engine were good about the Crank Sensors going bad. Now, as I can't say that securily with out diagnosis. If it were my vehicle and knowing what I know about no starts, that is diffinently where I would start. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Sheila.

Rough ideal after warm up have new map, maf coolant sensor wires, plugs and coil packs. no coolant leaks, no vacuum leaks. fuel pressure OK. runs great except for ideal cam sensor OK compression OK. Even...

Try the tps, throttle position sensor, and the idacv, idle air control valve. Even sometimes the temp sensor could be bad, telling the motor its cold when its really hot..

Reset 2007 6.0 Lumina service kilometer display

please follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
  • 1 Open the hood of the Lumina.
  • 2 Locate the negative battery terminal on the battery. This has a black wire and is identified by a negative "-" stamped on the battery housing.
  • 3 Disconnect the negative battery terminal using a box-end wrench and isolate it so it does not come back into contact with the negative battery post.
  • 4 Leave the negative battery terminal disconnected for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 5 Reconnect the negative battery terminal and recheck the service-engine-soon light by starting the car.

What's going on with my Chevy Lumina?

I remember my wife's old Lumina had the head gasket replaced and hearing about the TSB (technical service bulliten) on the engine. Check your engine oil and coolant.....if the oil looks milky (whitish brown) or the coolant looks like it has oil in it, you may have seroius engine damage. If the oil and coolant looks ok, get a few estimates on replacing the intake gasket, but don't gamble that it will resolve you issue.

If the cost of the repairs are more than half the value of the car, it's time to let it go...
