Hi guy's, don't my CBR 125 r 2004 model carb keeps on flooding, I cleaned it twice and still it keeps on flooding until it starts flowing out by my overflow pipe, I soaked it in petrol, used spray cleaners and liquid molly products, don't know if it is the float chamber or the float valve or whatever it may be, please do assist. Thanks a lot

SOURCE: floats not moving on my honda vt250fd

Hi Chris,

You can download the service manual for nix from here. trying to picture what you are looking at, but if they are the only rubber hoses coming off the carby, then they are most probably the fuel lines. If they come off the very top of the carby, then they may be breathers. The bike has a vacuum operated petcock also, you will need to have it in prime position for the carbs to fill. Then once the engine runs, if the petcock os working correctly, then you should be able to get fuel in on position. Just cranking it over will not created enough vacuum for the carbies to fill.,hence the prime setting. Happy to answer any questions you may have about the bike, A FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to assist you. Cheers

SOURCE: how to change Honda CBR 125 air filter

yes you do need to take the tank off, first the seat needs to be removed, then there is a bolt holding the tank, then there are 4 pipes that are with the tank mark down on paper where you av moved them from, so you can replace them back to nornall.

SOURCE: I am having starting problem with Honda Activa.

Check to see if you are getting any spark to the plug. You can get the testers for a few buck at Auto Zone (spark plug cable inserts into it and then you push the contact pin into the cable) when you kick start the bike the tester should light up, if it doesn't you may have a bad coil or the wiring to it may be loose/disconnected.

SOURCE: 98 cr 125 has spark and gas but wont start. seems

you should open the carb and check the floaters and the pin they control. Then adjust the float height and test it before you put it on the bike.Empty the gas from the engine 'cause it will damage the crankshaft's oil seals.

2005 Honda CBR 125 bogs down under full throttle.

Question edited for clarity and full 'year make model' in correct order, plus spelling.

Yes, it is a mixture issue you aren't getting any, the carburetor main jet is partially blocked!

Or the float level valve is partially blocked.

Or the tank isn't supplying fuel fast enough.

Check out the videos, start with the carb.

Bike floods its self constantly, i drain the carb bowls, it starts then floods after not even 1 minute of running....

The fuel is probably flooding due to trash in carb, remove the fuel bowl, clean float needle, clean jet and the orfaces in it.(if dirt is in it clean the rest of the fuel system to keep it from happening again.) Spray cleaner does good.
