I have a kawasaki lakota 300 (2001) It starts and runs with the choke on soon as i turn choke off it dies idle adjustment screww does nothing. I can here that it is working. Ive ran it up and down the street hitting all gears....wide open. it will not idle. without choke on.What else can i try ? You do not list my model. I have atv 2 wheel drive....lakota 300. I had to choose a random model under your listing.

You need to take off your carburetor , disassemble it, and clean the jets (specifically the slow jet) and the passageways in the carburetor body that feed the gas to the carburetor throat. Carefully set your air screw setting back to stock setting. and reassemble. Inspect the intake manifold and air box tubes for cracks and separations. That should get you idling again.

Im having same problem. Soon as i take choke off it dies. I can run it mad for about 5-8 minutes then it wont start again for 4-6 hours. It turns over but just wont start.

Kawasaki lakota 300 starts and runs great for about 10 to 20 mins then starts sputtering and dies after it sits for about 30 or more mins it starts again. pulled plug no spark after it dies.

problem ignition control module or coil/s
electronic component failing when getting hot
replace coil /s and or ignition control module

YUP SO NOT OIL/GAS PROBLEM HERE EITHER CARB NO GOOD OR PISTON RINGS WORN PLUS WHILE AT IT REPLACE SPARK PLUG YOU CAN TRY TO ADJUST CARB IDLE SPEED JET ETC FIRST IF YOU CHOOSE.

I have a 1995 kawi 750 and at idle she runs great but as soon as u go to ride and get to 5000 to 6000 rpm it will just die but if u push in this black little button under the clutch or play with it a bit...

triple check choke? Is it staying on once warm? Mine was cable and siezed and choke on to start from cold, when it warmed up it turned out choke was stuck half on. Like if you ride then whack choke on it stalls?

Kawasaki bayou 300 will not run with out choking it

Had a similar problem, I rebuilt the carb and fixed any gaps/cracks in the intake boots and carb-engine gasket. runs ok now

Kawasaki Ninja 250 running problem

This could be due to timing screw being incorrectly set
Locate gold timing screw on the carbrettta turn it clockwise only slightly till bike idles without choke on, Then when choke it on it should idle a touch higher.

05 750 brute force missing badly

Just had same problem. Take carbs off and clean all jets and bowl. Be carful front and rear carb have different sized jets. When you put quad back together put entire airbox together even the cover. This quad will backfire unless air box is complete. I bet you anything your carb is full of trash.
