I have a kawasaki lakota 300 (2001) It starts and runs with the choke on soon as i turn choke off it dies idle adjustment screww does nothing. I can here that it is working. Ive ran it up and down the street hitting all gears....wide open. it will not idle. without choke on.What else can i try ? You do not list my model. I have atv 2 wheel drive....lakota 300. You need to take off your carburetor , disassemble it, and clean the jets (specifically the slow jet) and the passageways in the carburetor body that feed the gas to the carburetor throat. Carefully set your air screw setting back to stock setting. and reassemble. Inspect the intake manifold and air box tubes for cracks and separations. That should get you idling again.

Im having same problem. Soon as i take choke off it dies. I can run it mad for about 5-8 minutes then it wont start again for 4-6 hours. It turns over but just wont start.
