How much oil does at 2003 kawasaki vulcan 1600 hold and what kind of oil is used?

The oil you want is SAE 10W-20. and 445ml if you are changing the oil. It can be more accurately checked with the fork removed and fully compressed and the spring removed, the oil will be 120mm from the top

earth connection to the bike chassis from battery
A loose terminal on the starter motor
headlight could be a short or an earth problem
stater motor fault

Its mixn w the coolant..probly need a bottomend rebuild cause berings will b toast. Seek a privateshop

Perform a compression test. Your looking for a bad ring.

Pick up your oil at the kawasaki dealer. DO NOT USE REGULAR MOTOR OIL. Wet clutches act up will motor oi. Good Luck ,Ned

The kickstand has some kind of safety switch, if the spring is not broke you should be able to snap it back on (with the kickstand up) and have someone to hold the bike or put it on a lift. It might take some muscle or take it to a dealer and I'm sure they can pop it back on. Hope this helps.
