Hi,it sounds from what you are saying that you have got a inturnal falt with the gearbox,im affried the only way to make a propper diagnoses is to take it apart and look at the gear sincros there has to be worn bearings,or teeth on the gears,or the sellector,or something has just manidged to come loose.

its not the clutch or chain its the gearbox by the sounds of it I would say the drive dogs on the gears in the box are worn away especially if it only does it in certain gears,what bike are we talking about here /???????????
Many p180's facing tiz problem (old ug 1 or 2) . Change ur clutch plate and change spark plug. Clean carburater. Gearbox problems already in pulsars.. Need this maintenance at all 15000 km for pulsars
