FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the engine from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what problem has been detected. There is also a chance a sensor has gone bad and is giving a false signal. Keep that in mind. Now determine if you want to do the fix or have the dealer do it. Please rate my answer.

May 15, 2021 - 2007 gsxr 600. I changed clutch cover due to being broken. Put new oil in. Won't start. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your bike yourself ...
It means you have a problem with the fuel injection system if you can start the bike then take it to a Suzuki mechanic. If the F1 is full on i.e.not flashing then the bike will not start normally. You still have a fuel system problem but now you have to find a way of getting it to a Suzuki mechanic. You should have a red light showing near the neutral indicator light.
I HAVE A 2005 GSXR 750 AND WHEN IM AT HIGH RPM THE BIKE SHUTS OFF. DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE FI CODE BLINKING? BUT THERE ARE DAYS WHEN IT RIDES FINE....WIERD
you need to ground your starter to see if is good or if it is your solenoild check all fuses first then take a rubber handled screw driver and touch the hot to the frame or a groun if the starter spins then your solenoid is bad or a fuse but more than likley the solenoid is bad
Most sports bikes are limited to 300km/h by the manufacturers in an effort to be responsible.
Actually the ? was about the 1000 not "most sport bikes". The Suzuki gsxr1000 for 2007 is rev limited to 184 mph. U do the math to figure out kph but in the U.S. who cares about the metric numbers.
