The fuel seems to be leaking from the over flow pipe.Time for resetting the float level and inspecting and attending to the float pin too and the inflow barrel.Please go thro this site it will give you some idea to the float chamber and all tho the site is not for a kawasaki carburator but the basics are kinda the same.<A rel='nofollow' href="http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Clean-a-Motorcycle-Carburetor,-The-Right-Way&id=1460030">http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Clean-a-Motorcycle-Carburetor,-The-Right-Way&id=1460030</A> Hope this helps!

check the point where the fuel hose goes to the fuel tank
there is very fine filter in the hose that could be blocked preventing full fuel flow
only running on choke indicates insufficient fuel flow

Have to hold down gas pedal when starting or won't start then chugs and acts flooded until it clears out..already changed fuel filter..maybe needs a tuneup? I'm stumped

The automatic choke is either stuck open or not operational at all.

clean the jet and fuel tube located inside the stem at carburetor must unscrew the bowl then the jet fuel tube might also be slightly stuck it should normall fall after jet removal clean all ports re install and walla

Full choke means fuel problems. Start with fuel cap vent open, fuel filter, and in proper direction. Keep going down the line.

Drain all the fuel and put super high test in it, look for cracks or any leaks from the heads and cylinder walls

No. 1 carburator loads up only when idleing or low rpms clears up once you open up throttle a time or two. took it off sprayed with carb cleaner still the same problem help please. 2000 ninja 9r e1

how's the plug look, float could be stuck, or hieght not set correctly. tab on float is bent leaving the fuel needle open slightly, or check synchroization of all 4 carbs and the choke linkage to all 4 carbs. choke could be full or partially turned on for that carbs .

Hi i have recently purchased a 1988 kawasaki ninja 250r, it seems to run well, however it has real trouble starting when cold, and sometimes wont start at all. what is likely to be causing this? thanks

Check the: Plugs Air Filter Fuel Filter Battery terminals Battery condition Choke.

Sputters & quits at proper RPM for engaging trans or mowing deck

If the choke has an adjustment point, then adjust the choke to a good overall working powerband. If it still doesn't act correctly, look for vacuum leaks. If it is an option, you may want to install a manually operated choke lever.
