This is usually caused by not enough voltage in your battery, replacing the battery should solve the problem. Not enough power to the starter motor, will make the soleniod click rapidly.
Charge battery to full, start in neutral, still clicks? Bad ground, or bad connection. Jump starter solenoid with screwdriver,etc. if motor turns over the relay is bad. Chaz Moto DC
