I own a 1994 suzuki dr350 and i find the front suspension a little soft so i was wondering how you would go about hardening the suspension if its possible. There are screw like things at the top of each fork im not shure if those have anything to do with adjusting the front suspension.

On a vehicle of that age, front struts would be worn and could cause soft suspension, perhaps also some "shimmy" after hitting a bump or pothole.

You might price them and see if it's worth it to you, but if you don't know if struts have ever been replaced I'd expect a new set would feel firmer.

SOURCE: suzuki drz250 front shock adjustment

what year is the bike? make sure the comp screws are adjusted right in clockwise, then wind it 11 cicks anti clockwise. if it is still too soft add a bit more oil. about 1 fluid oz to each fork leg up to 2 fluid ozs. as long as you have the right amount of oil in the forks in the first place. if this is still too soft you will need to put heavier sprins in. hope this helps. cheers kev.

1991 Suzuki DR 350 S oil flow diagram

I Think the DR gets oil to the rockers using an external line. Look for 3/16 line with banjo style fitting on the head or rocker box. the bolt for banjo fitting is hollow. Do not accidently install a standard bolt at banjo fitting . And do not over tighten Hollow bolts in banjo fittings.
