Battery more than three years old? get a new one, and don't even mess around with trickle charging it has a bad cell and you can confirm this the next time it dies on you check voltage, if it reads 12.3v or less its definitely bad. if your positive that the battery is good showing a charge of 12.5v or more then its probably your voltage regulator going bad..you can check this by starting the bike and rev the bike to 4k and watch the voltage climb up to @14.5 v and then get regulated down to @ 13.0v..this is a properly running charging system.

2012 VW Jetta TDI battery won't hold charge and car only clicks and won't start

You need to charge your battery up more. Either get a battery charger or leave the jumper cables hooked up for a longer period of time.
Your battery was probably completely dead. You might even need a new battery...they really don't like to be completely drained.

Your battery power has been drained. First thing I would do is to charge the battery via using another car to jump start the car and let it run for an hour or two. Or get a charger and jump the car. Either way I would run it for an hour or two recharge the battery. If that doesn't work then you will have to replace the battery.

Cranks but won't start sometimes. Also has cut out while idleing in traffic and again cranks but won't start. car has new battery.

From what i've seen over the years with the Chryslers i've encountered. Your describing to the "T" what appears to be a bad Crank Sensor. I will bet money that if you replace the crank sensor it will solve your problem. BUT...Also know that a bad fuel pump can do exactly what you describe in your statement. Once the pump get hot it gets to acting stupid, but yet again so can the Crank Sensor. Still, my money is on the Crank Sensor.

My 2001 1200 C Custom Sportster won't turn over, it just clicks. I've changed the spark plugs and am currently having the battery checked. If it is not the battery, what might be my other options?

9 times out of 10 its the battery ,, have them LOAD check it before you put it back in, Harleys take a ton of amps to turn over, everything else will work, but no go on starting. Also, once running, short trips will drain the battery fast,, My harley mechanic told me for each start I need 30 minutes of drive time to fully recharge the battery , One dead cell in the battery will cause this to worsen 10 times, make sure all connections are clean and tight

Replaced battery, bike started fine. Let it sit overnight, won't start. Won't even crank, just clicks once then nothing, the Neutral light shuts off and the lights started flickering.

To begin with, I'd have that battery load tested to see if it's any good. I've seen brand new batteries that were bad. It it checks OK, check all the connections that go to the battery. Be especially attentive to the smaller wires that attach to it. I've seen battery acid eat the wire out of the insulation leaving the insulation intact and the wire appeared fine. If the wire bends too easily, be suspect. If the wires have the "crimp on" connectors, make sure they're tight. Your problem sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

Good Luck

After sitting for three days, my '96 Honda will not start. I get clicking noises but no starting. What can this be?

I would assume your battery cables are loose or the battery has drained itself somehow. Try cleaning your cables and tightening them. You made need to boost it or put a charger on it for a while. If you need to recharge the battery, either you have a poor battery that is no longer holding a charge, or something is draining it while it sits. Could be a trunk light, or glovebox light, or many other things.
