This have been a few problems with 06's not running at idle at stoplights etc. The problem seems to be sporatic and not constant. Because the bike is fuel injected, the ECM needs to be checked. Your local dealership also has an EGA (exhaust gas analyzer) The combination of the two should identify the problem. Other factors may be involved. please tell your service department if you have added additional performance items. i.e. air kit, pipe, power commander etc. I have all of the above and i can't find the same problem. It doesn't happen very often, but it is annoying. Good luck.
my bike does this too! very dangerous when bike shut off while I am leaning into a turn and cannot accelerate through the turn!
My 2006 Stratoliner did this about 2 years ago and is starting to do this again. found the problem to be the bushing in the clutch lever. Replaced the bushing and the stalling at stoplights went away. Something to do with the clutch handle switch and the computer.
