Where are the spark plugs located on a 2001 kia spectra

It depends on the plug that you use. Some are Pre-Gapped.

Drain **** is usually bottom corner of radiator but they are known to break....just pull off bottom radiator hose.

It depends on the model. Kia Spectra comes with engines that ranges from the 1.5, to the1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 liter models. Most engines have the spark plugs located on top of the engine block under a plastic cover. Under the plastic cover you may find the plugs or two coil packs. In the last case the plugs are located under the coil packs.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. All you have to do is follow your spark plug/coil wires to the cap. This is the point where all the wires hook up in the same area, on the cap itself. The plugs plug in to the distributor cap. It should only have a screw or two that comes out to remove it. You might have to take out other parts to change it though. The distributor should be mounted on the edge of the engine, meaning the cap is right beside it.

Directly on top of the motor,Remove the black cover plate(6-8 screws).Next remove the contents within the "well"....The small boxes with the solid,yet wax-like-looking material within them.....and the plunger-ended spark plug wires(carefully pulling)...lift out these parts,remembering their order...WATCH FOR SMALL,BLACK WASHERS.....The plugs reside inside engine head...you will need an extension...It really is easy!
