To begin with, ..Why did you change the CDI and rectifier? Were you having charging problems?? The rectifier simply changes A/C current into D/C current run the electrical system/charge the battery! The CDI manages the spark for the spark plug. The CDI and rectifier are for TWO different electrical system. (Engine running - and - battery charging/lights/turn signals, etc.)
Please tell me what was wrong and everything you did and WHY.

rectifier maybe going bad and overcharging. Use a test meter and test voltage at battery without engine running, with engine running, and reving engine up. It should not go above 14.4 volts. If it does, the rectifier is bad.

There is a fuel Tap on the skyjet however it cannot be turned on and off its always on ... Its located under the petrol tank
