Hello Jason
To begin with, ..Why did you change the CDI and rectifier? Were you having charging problems?? The rectifier simply changes A/C current into D/C current run the electrical system/charge the battery! The CDI manages the spark for the spark plug. The CDI and rectifier are for TWO different electrical system. (Engine running - and - battery charging/lights/turn signals, etc.)
Please tell me what was wrong and everything you did and WHY.
Please reply thru fixya and I will get back to you!

rectifier maybe going bad and overcharging. Use a test meter and test voltage at battery without engine running, with engine running, and reving engine up. It should not go above 14.4 volts. If it does, the rectifier is bad.

No spark on ignition coil on my bajaj wind 125 my cdi , rectifier and stator are new.

Put a test lamp and connect with an earth then crank the engine the bulb should flash for a moment if the coil is ok ...
OR, there is a another simple method just take out the spark plug connector and place is at a very near to the spark plug end and then crank the engine if every thing is fine ( OK condition) then one can see the spark in between the the spark plug lead and the HT cable.

Hi there i have a skyjet sj-125-23 i was on the way home from work ad it cut out and wont start again there is a wire that has come out of the cdi unit so we basically touched the wire to the place it...

I think that your CDI needs replacing. It is sometimes possible to dig a bit of epoxy out and solder the wire back. If this works, seal the area with silicone after.
