1993 pontiac bonneville fuel pump problem

Pontiac bonneville fuel pump problem, were is the fuel pump relay? I was having trouble getting car to stay running. changed fuel filter and it fixed it for awhile. had more trouble changed fuel pump and filter, once again it fixed it for awhile. now it has trouble starting and won't stay running?? please HELP!

It could be that you have picked up a batch of dirty fuel that has clogged the gauze input filter that is part ot the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

1993 Pontiac Bonneville pump not running with key on but does run when jump wire to test above battery.what should I check for.
check fuse #6. Swap the fuel pump relay with another identical relay under the hood. Pull the fuel pump relay. To pins should be grounded all the time. One pin should have power with the key on and one pin should have power with the key in the crank position.

Car starts up runs fine, shut it off to go into store, come out and it won't start. leave it for 30 minutes and it will start up fine... help!
You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.
You should be able to duplicate the problem to get it checked out.
