How do I raise the seat up on a 2001 kawasaki zx9 ?

If it's like my 2003 ZX9, to take the riders seat off you open the rear compartment by removing the passenger seat, the front bracket that hold the the seat has two 8mm bolts and a screw. Unscrew the screw and remove the bolts and slide or remove the bracket and then the riders seat lifts up.

read the tire sidewall. call your local service department that services your make and model. That would be a Kawasaki dealer I believe. The air pressure in motorcycle tires can go down one psi per week as cars can go down one psi per month.


Better to check with tire manufacturer for actual specs to compare to what the dealer tells you.

Where is the mixture adjustment on my 01 zx9. is it in the frame above the left foot peg?

Hi, above the left footpeg in the frame is for the idle,,,the mixture adjustment screws are on the carbs.

No... the 94 bike is a different design, also the frame is a complete new design on the 98
