I have a kawasaki klx 125. The fuel on off toggle is letting gas get through even though its on the off switch. which is causing me to lose gas on my carb. Gas is leaving the over flow tube at the bottom only way to stop it is to lean the bike towards the other side that does not have a kick stand.

Fuel running out of your vent hoses is due to your float needle plugged. You need to loosen the carb boots, and turn it to remove the bottom bowl. The float will move up and down and it pushes a needle into a jet that lets fuel into the bowl. If there is dirt in it, it can't stop the fuel.
check and clean the carb, there must be a dirt or an small object blocking the intake line of carb causing to malfunction the fuel floater. the floater acts like a control switch when the fuel reservoiris already full the floater floats causing to shut of the fuel.
Be certain the battery is in good condition. Install a new spark plug. Clean the carb and air filter. Use the throttle sparingly. The carb has a power valve that gives an extra shot of gas each time the throttle is twisted. Too many twists and the engine floods out. Please rate my answer. Thanks!
regular is fine but synthetic or semi-synthetic is even better because it makes your bike run a lot better... once you use it though you can't go back to regular...it is a little more exspensive
