Electrical problem on Aprilia SL 1000 Falco year 2000.

I have an Aprilia SL 1000 Falco year 2000. It has been standing in dry garage for over 12 months, and battery has died. Just replaced with new one, but turning the ignition key, there are no dash lights, and all accessories, lights, horn, indicators do not work. Have checked the 30Amp main fuses which are unbroken, and the 15 Amp secondary fuses, again unbroken. I may have left the ignition key in the 'On' position when fitting the battery and suspect I may have fried something electrical. Any thoughts?

Use a voltage meter and test battery, If that is fine then Test the bike wiring loom at each connection point and you will find at what point its failing.

Remove the battery terminals and the starter terminals and clean them shiny with a wire brush. Smear the contacts with Vaseline to stop oxidization and tighten the contacts. Also check the starter relay.
