We have a Kawasaki Hedge Trimmer TF22. I need to know the ratio of gasoline and oil to put in it

2.56 fluid ounces of oil to one gallon of gasoline.

50:1 petrol/oil

if using top quality 2 stroke oil

you put 100 mils of oil into 5 litre container and add 5 litres of fuel only that is 50:1 petrol oil ratio

you can use a 40:1 mix if it smokes then cut it back to 32:1 but a little more oil is better than not enough so start with the 40:1

If it is a 2 stroke engine, a 50:1 ratio should work. That's 50 parts gas to 1 part oil.
