CC is cubic centimetres, it is a measurement of the piston diameters multiplied by the piston stroke(or travel) An r6 will be 600cc although it may actually be 597cc or 602cc but not usually exactly 600

Why won't my new TV/DVD combo turn on CC but subtitles work fine.

There could be a few reasons why your TV/DVD combo is not displaying closed captions (CC) but subtitles are working fine. Some possible causes include:
  • The CC feature is not enabled on the TV or DVD player. Check the settings on both the TV and the DVD player to make sure the CC feature is turned on.
  • The CC feature may only be available on certain channels or with certain types of programming. Check to see if the CC feature is available on the channel or program you are trying to watch.
  • The CC feature may not be compatible with the type of DVD you are trying to play. Some DVDs may not include CC information or may have different CC options.
  • The TV/DVD combo may be malfunctioning. If none of the above solutions work, it may be a hardware issue and you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
It's important to note that CC and subtitles are different things. CC is closed captions which is a text version of the audio that appears on screen while subtitles are a text version of spoken dialog in the same language as the audio. Make sure you are looking for the correct feature.

I use my cc a lot, but trying to help a friend understand hers, I somehow messed mine up. Before this all I had to do was press the cc button and turn it on. Now how do I get that back??

Hello Dixie, it is very possible that the CC does not work for you, from the remote control, for failure of the CC button on the remote, try to enter the menu and look for the CC function and try from there if it changes, if it does, it means that the CC button on your remote control works poorly
Try replacing the remote
Greetings Franco Dosil

Why wont my toyota carina 2 ltr. E start its always been so good but we had one hard frost and the next day it would not start with a jump but did start with a tow, the following day went to start it

Not familiar with your specific engine so some of this may not apply. Generally, sounds as if whatever acts as a choke on your engine has failed. Most common would be a coolant temp sensor, cold start injector, or very likely a moisture related issue, such as bad plug wires, cracked distributor cap, etc.
