SOURCE: removing harley davidson ultra classic gas tank

Drain the fuel either by siphening or removing the cross over tube at the front of the tank and letting it drain that way or just block off those cross over lines and leave the fule in the tank for removal.

0) remove seat
1) drain fuel
2) undo cross over line (bottom front of gas tank.
3) shut off pet **** and remove fuel line from pet ****.
4)there should only be 2 bolts holding the tank on, one at the top front of the tank and one at the back of the tank.

All in all a pretty easy (but possibloy messy) job.

SOURCE: starter removal on 2004 ultra classic harley davidson

Disconnect battery , remove the outer primary case, pull back the lock tab on the starter jackshaft, unbolt the retainer screw, then remove the two starter bolts from the right side, sometimes you need to loosen the oil tank mounts to get at these, slip the starter and coupler out as a unit, replace the coupler and jackshaft the same way they came out when the new starter goes in, install bolts , retighten the jackshaft bolt and bend over the retainer, install and fill primary case, connect battery thats it buddy

Need to remove radio on 2010 Harley ultra classic to fix the jack where it was push into the radio can't find anyone to fix mind

You will need to remove the outer fairing. There are four allen head bolts on the sides of the radio that will need to be removed. Push the radio through the inner fairing. United Radio, in New York, is the business Harley Davidson uses to fix these radios. Standard cost thru a dealership for any repairs/exchange is $400. The cost is $50.00 if you have an extended warranty on the motorcycle. Your dealer will ship the radio, if you decide to go that route.

Speedo bounces and the stereo cuts in and out and seem like its a loose wire or something

It's possible some wires have rubbed through inside the fairing. The usual spot to check in near the two silver inner fairing brackets. While your in there, check the connections at both the radio and the speedo.

2003 Ultra. My radio and CD player speakers will only come on at half volume adjustment resulting in the speakers being to loud. When I adjust the speakers below 50% no volume is produced. .

Same thing happened to my bosses gold wing, we tore that thing apart, finally, found a fuse in line, buried deep in the guts of the fairing, it was blown, replaced it , the volume came back on no problem. The fuse wasn't even listed in the owner's manual. Check it out.

On my 2003 ultra classic the left speaker on the fairing goes on and off and the right speaker sometimes pops and sometimes does nothing the speakers on the tour pack work fine. when i use the channel...

Check for loose wires on front speakers (remove faring, 7 screws). The popping one may be blown.
Try some electrical contact spray on the handle bars control switch, and then work the switch.
