Viewing oil indicator Suzuki Boulevard C90 (2008)

The oil indicator faces the ground when the bike is on the kickstand. When holding the bike level, I can not view the indicator.
How can one person check the oil on a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C90?

I used a mirror.... leaned it at a slight angle against the garage wall next to the bike and viewed the level window perfectly while sitting on the bike.

Either get a bike lift or centre stand or lean the handlebar against a wall, you will find a spot where it is close to verticle.
leave the side stand down so it cant fall on you if it over balances away from the wall

Sit on bike and put toe under kickstand to help level the bike and take a telescoptic mirror like your dentist and mechanic uses and view the oil window to check oil.

How do i check the oil because i just bought a 2009 suzuki bulevard but there dip stick? and the dealer ship didnt give me an owners manuel

On newer model bikes there is no dipstick, just a cap.
so to check the oil level, you need to look on the engine cover itself.
there will be a sight glass, with 2 hash marks on the case .
lower line is minimum, top line is maximun

If the sight glass is too dirty, warm up the bike and then change the oil and filter.
Then watch the sight glass as you fill the oil.

if bike is equipped with a center stand, always check oil on center stand.
if no center stand then check oil with bike on kickstand.

The sight glass will be either on the right side lower engine cover
or left side lower engine cover.
it it round and about the size of a quater.

Hope to be helpful.
best regards

The motorcycle has a kickstand kill switch that prevents the bike from moving with the kickstand down.

2007 suzuki c50 bulevard how to check oil

There is a small sight glass on the right side down low by the footpeg.

It is difficult to hold the bike upright and check at the same time. Have a friend check while you hold the bike, or use a small inspection mirror to check the level.

Looking for oil dipstick on 2005 suzuki boulevard c-50 how to do oil change?

Sorry, no dipstick; the oil level is checked at a sight window low on the right side of the engine. This is best done with an inspection mirror, as the bike must be held level to read accurately. Side note: when changing the oil filter, make sure that the rubber gasket of the old filter does not stick to the bike- some have failed to notice this, causing a total loss of engine oil while the bike is running!

Wheres the dip stick ????? i hope not riding the bike!!!

There is a sight-glass window on the right side of your bike. It's located near the ground in the middle of the bike. Hold the bike perfectly upright and the oil level should split the sight-glass right in the middle.

Oil change?

The Filter is on the front, bottom of the engine. It will be tight to get off and must be screwed back on tightly or it will leak.

Oil drain plug is at the rear of the engine, facing backwards.

Oil filling is under the RHS rear chrome cover, two hex socket screws to undo.

C90 takes about 4.5 litres to fill with an oil filter change, 4 litres if you dont cange the filter.

After refilling make sure to hold your bike upright and check the sightglass under the filler. Oil level should be between the markings on the housing.

Do you have to hold the bike level when filling a gsxr with oil?

It's gotta be level bro. Otherwise the oil is all to one side. Level surface and level bike. Good luck bro.

Suzuki m50 shift gears.

Check clutch adjustment for proper engaging & de-engagement. If adjustment nut near the clutch lever try adjusting by turning.
