Try disconnecting the kill switch. If it fires, replace the switch.
Check spark plug cap. It screws into the wire. Give it a turn clockwise and check again for spark. If not, unscrew it counter-clockwise and look at the small core of wire ends in the middle. Those will over time break and cause inadequate connection. Use some wire cutters and snip about 1/4 inch off the end and screw the cap back on.
If still nothing, you need to check the coil resistance and the stator. Eliminating everything else is the only way to diagnose a bad cdi.
