Could be the starter solenod. you can find it by following the positive cable from the battery to the solenoid. try bridging the two posts with a pair of needle nose pliers. if it starts you now know your solenoid is bad. if it doesn't, could be your starter. check all wires clean and connected.

My 2005 kawasaki ninja 636 wont start i was charging the battery and it made a pop noise and now nothing turns on when i turn the key

The Kawasaki has a main fuse, located in the starter relay. Follow the red battery cable from the battery to a small plastic box. This box should have two large wires and a plastic cap, Under this cap is the main fuse. Pull that and see if it is blown and replace it if she is.

MY 97 DODGE STRATUS WONT START, ITSGOT POWER AND WEN I TRY TO START IT I ONLY GET A CLICK NOISE, NOT THEDEAD BATTERY CLICKING NOISE JUST ONE CLICK AND THATS IT. I HAD STARTED IT TWENTY MINUTES PRIOR TO...

i believe if you remove the steering wheel upper and lower covers, there will be a button to push to allow the removal of the key..as for the no start, the battery light is on because of the alternator. Its faulty. the clicking sound could very well be the starter not having enough power reaching to turn it over again unless you put a power pack on it...try a brand new battery, test the alternator and removed the key..it is possible the the key not shutting off the way, is drawing power from the battery not allowing to start that way, causing what they call a "parasitic drain". charge battery, remove key. try that

I have a 89 kawasaki ninja 250 that wont start just click

sorry to say it but the battery cannot handle the load, it may work with small things like lights and low amperage devices. but when you crank the starter motor your pulling far to many amps and the battery cannot put out meaning that the battery has a bad cell or it may just need a battery refill, today we just replace the batteries. it;s safer and a lot easier. plus you get money back for bringing in your old one. but the battery is not able to supply the proper voltage and amps anymore and should be replaced. a very simple test turn the key to run and turn your headlights on. then press the starter button see if the lights do not completely go out. if they do you have a dead battery cell. good luck with it, and thanks for using fixya

My motorcycle wont turn over

how old is the battery? sure sounds like the battery is beyond it useful like and you need a new one.

even if the battery shows a full 12-12.5 volts, when put under a load (like trying to turn a starter and start a bike), it drops too low and the amps are not sufficient.

if the bike starts with a jump start, then replace the battery and all should be fine again.

Kawasaki zzr400 (1994 model),streetfighter wont start

check starter solenoid.see if getting power to starter side when pressing button .if yes check if power to starter w/ test light when pressing button.if power there check starter, also motor, will it turn manually or is it seized.if no power to starter side of solenoid, jump across solenoid posts w/ a large screwdriver -motor will probaly turn over,w/ key on.if small wire to solenoid has power when pressing start, solenoid bad,if no power, wiring or start button bad.
