Check for possible air flow restriction to the radiatior. Anything stuck in the cooling fins to cause a blockage. Also check the cooling fan to see if it is working properly. To check the fan (while engine is cold) turn the blades on fan, if the blades do not turn freely then the fan is at fault.Grasp the fan on both sides and rock the fan checking for any excessive bearing play (wobble). To check the fan after the truck has warmed up, turn the ignition off andd disconnect negative wire from battery. Turn the fan by hand, some resistance should be felt. If the fan turnes easily, replace the fan. Hope this will help you.
