When I push the starter button I hear a click sound from around the fuse holder and I lose electrical power. I can unplug the main fuse , plug it back in and power is restored. It's done this a couple of times. Each time after pulling fuse and plugging it back in, it starts.

Troubleshooting power issues for whirlpool accubake double oven

Nothing Works, or the Oven / Range / Stovetop Works Only At Certain Times:

1.Home breaker flipped or the fuse blown?Possibly an electrical surge has flipped the breaker. Check your breaker or fuse box and replace or reset as necessary.
2.Power cord plugged in?Grab the plug and wiggle to determine a good connection.
3.Power cord damage?Damaged rubber with wires showing through or the wire is being pinched can cause issues. Electrical tape is acceptable for covering damaged wires.
4.Aclicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If the clock resets then something is causing power interruptions to the board.
5.Even a bad relay door switch will hinder your oven from operating.

If your oven has internal fuses, a wiring or component problem could have caused a fuse to blow. A blown fuse is an indication that a component has shorted or failed, and the problem will need to be corrected. Most ovens that use fuses will have an indication of the circuits that are affected by a particular fuse. If an oven fuse has blown, then you should inspect the oven element and the associated wiring to determine the cause before replacing the fuse.

I have full electric power and a new battery . When I hit the start button it clicks at the fuse . It has a new starter switch .

Ok, providing your battery is good, if your getting a click, means your circuit is good from the Battery to the start button on to the starter relay(is what you hear clicking). You need to look at your starter motor. Either bad earth to starter motor or worn brushes in the starter motor. There are a few other possibly causes but id inspect the motor first before going into those as there a bit more advanced problem.

I lose all power in my 2004 roadstar 1700 when i push the starter button

Sounds like cables are not making a good contact. Take the cables off the battery and clean them and the posts. If that doesn't fix it check the cables at the other ends at the starter and ground. Make sure you take them off and clean them good cause they can be tight and still not make a connection.

1991 Honda Night Hawk 750.., battery fine but the fuse box clicks when I push the start button, nothing else happens.

There are no moving parts in your fuse box. The clicking sound is the contact bar closing in your starter solenoid.Follow your positive battery cable to your starter solenoid. If your push your starter button and you hear a click in the starter solenoid , then your starter button is good. If you take a piece of wire, a screw driver, or simply touch the the two power cables on the the starter solenoid together you will be putting power directly to your starter. If you jump the solenoid and the starter works you need to replace the starter solenoid. If with direct power to the starter, you tap the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works, you need new starter brushes. Anything else wrong with the starter and you will need to replace the starter assembly the manufacturers do not sell replacement parts for there starters (only the brushes).

Where is the fuse located that is in the cranking circuit? I don't have a book at this time.

The only fuse within the electric starting circuit is the 30A main fuse which should be located near the starter solenoid. If this fuse were blown, however, you would have no electrical power at all. So, if only the starter isn't working - and the battery is fully charged, you've got either a faulty starter button, or a bad starter solenoid. Just listen for the solenoid to make a distinct 'clicking' sound when the starter button is pushed. No click, then replace the right handlebar switch assembly. If it clicks and the starter still doesn't work - use a large screwdriver to bridge the two large cable connections atop the solenoid. If this makes the starter spin, then you need a new solenoid.

Yamaha big bear 400 will not start wilth electric started will start fine with pull start has comp, fuel and spark

Sounds like a problem with the starter, could be a starter fuse, relay or solenoid. The start cicuit wiring could also be damaged. If you can pull-start the motor, and it runs fine, you have pretty much eliminated any problems with the motor. Check the wires running from the start button make sure they are intact, also trace them and look for around a 1" cubed black box. This is the relay, when you push the button, if its working, you will feel the box click. Also locate the starter and do the same thing. If you feel or hear the starter click, the solenoid is working. The battery voltage could also be too low to energize the starter motor. Could also be a battery or alternator issue. Check the battery voltage and for any sounds coming from the bike when you push the start button.

No sound whatever

when you switch the unit on make sure that you hear two clicks, this will tell you whether the protection relay is working. Should you hear the two clicks this will indicate that the audio ic`s are working. There are fuses inside the main component box, four on the transformer. Let me know the outcome
