I have a 2008 Yamaha WR450F.I can not find the odometer on the speedometer (digital).How do i go about .

broken cable if your style bike has that style system, the cable that attaches to the axle shired off, i"ve had that stripped out also before and had to replace it.

Nothing much if it has stayed inside a garage or inside a building..Just check engine oil, change spark plug if possible,check your brakes if they piston or caliper are not stuck.Do not forget to lubricate its chain...Thats it you are ready to go..Now if it has stayed outside then you will need lubricating clutch cable, chain..and check if there is no irregular noise when the wheels are turned..

I had the same problem with my neutral light, but the engine should not cut off when the bike is in neutral this is how you can warm up your bike (if it was cutting out before then it could be a short in the wire). Secondly, the speedo and odo problem that sounds like the wires have come disconnected since they both run off the same wheel. Look for a disconnected set of wires, and/or broken wire (from road debirs) that could be causing the problem. Let me know if this helps.
