Engine wants to bogg down after 3rd gear

1995 kawasaki zx6r Engine wants to bogg down after 3rd gear like at around 60mph but if i cover the front air ports it runs fine carbs are all spotless 150 main jets needle has the clip in the 4th position Micron full exhaust uni air filter and 4 degrees advanced.

It sounds like you need to richen up your system. are you sure you have the clip in the right position. 4th from top or 4th from bottom? if it's in the correct position, try adjusting you mixture screw to allow for either more fuel or less air.

I have a 1988 Honda Shadow vt 600 VLX have to keep choke on it runs down the road but at 45mph Boggs out I can take the air filter off and get it up to 60mph could this be vacuum leak or fuel pump

Sounds like engine isn't getting proper amount of fuel. Remove carbs and clean any debris. If you aren't handy, take it to a Honda mechanic. I wouldn't bother with Sea Foam, or a carb cleaner you pour into tank.

Could you the tyre pressures front and rear for a kawasaki ninja 600 year 2000 please .thanks

hi, in there wisdome kawasaki played around with tyre sizes on the zx6r ninja,

tyre size rear 160/60/17.
tyre size front 120/60/17 1995-98 models zx600f

rear. 170/60/17
front 120/60/17 1998-2000 models zx600-g1

rear 180/55/17
front 120/65/17 2000-01 models zx600j

the only thing they didnt play around with is the tyre pressures all models front 36psi or 2.5 bar
rear 41psi or 2.9 bar

1999 200HP johnson boggs down when put in gear

Check your tank screen. Check your lower unit and the propshaft for fishing line wrapped around it. Check under the cover and observe the wires on the stator which turn to advance the timing. It sounds like you have no torque.
