I have 5 or 6 lines coming carb. Body/ no idle

NOT told
country (or VIN, car delivered to day 1 new) called market.
no maker
no model
no year
no engine size told
we know it is old with CARB

no idle means stalls or idle too LOW?
cold engine or hot, normal idle is wrong RPM?
or choke stuck on? or stuck off cold>
what is RPM hot and cold idle, if stalls say stalls.
lines on carbs can be
wires, Fuel , or vacuum hoses, and throttle cable and transmission kickdown cable. (lines is very vague term)even a cruise control cable.
have answers for USA cars, is yours USA>?? IDK

1993 automatic transmission Geo Tracker that stalls every time I stop

sorry for late post
that was dead wrong to do. 1.6L ( 8v or 16v?)
the PCM sets idle only (ISC valve) and when cold only thermal IAC valve, so if then wrecked the TB throttle stop screw setting a factory settings. (no never touch) it did this like a CARB and is not one.

so is this a hot engine stall or cold, hot means normal temps.
stall on this car means the PCM lost control of idle. (its job is that)
top cause are.
1: EGR struck open they love to just as you stop the car. and stalls at 400 rpm and is never allowed to be active at idle (PCM logic0
so is bad valve stuck.
now back to high RPM
the answer is not same for 8v and 15valve engine
8v any vacuum leak causes super high idle.
16v engine leaks cause low idle, goes lean.
stalling has many causes ,
and are not the same hot and cold engine
on cold engine the IAC open and idle is about 1500 RPM
if not the IAC is dead or EGR stuck open.
on the hot engine the ISC holds RPM at 800 rpm, (AC off)
if not ISC stuck EGR open or ISC is jammed up,

EGR and ISC just love to stick on this car and can be cleaned
the IAC is therrmal device and can not be cleaned, only replaces and are rare now.
I have simple test to prove what it is , ask/

F 150 shuts off when y I u turn a/c on 5.4 3v

the engine stalls. (i bet only on a hot engine, , am i right?)
this can be 2 things. but with this huge of engine 1.
the engine idle controls are not idling up.
or extreme, the engine is too weak and the compressor has issues.
does the car driver perfect A/c off? full power and normal hot
engines. and idle speed is at spec hot. near 800 RPM?
(spec, rpm is stated clearly on the hood sticker) open hood look up and under. see that EPA sticker, ?

if RPM is normal. hot.
the engine has huge power.
you turn on A/c and the rpm must not drop
did you try to push the throttle down to prevent the stall.
did that work> yes./no,
if yes,did the A/c belt squeal>?
if that cant work and belt does not scream, the engine has very low power.
the ECU increases idle speed when the A/C is on. this prevents stalls.
this can fail, if the ISC is bad. or diry.

When bought engine idled @ 800 rpm when warm, now engine lite is on and engine idles rough @ 500 to 600 RPM. Replaced rack and pinion, power steering, checked wires, replaced sparkplugs, # 1 plug was in...

could be numerous reasons. this is your best bet take it in to a mechanic and have your engine codes scanned. it is a minimal charge, some even do it for nothing it only takes 10 minutes.this will point you in the right direction.

Service light has come on. Engine idles at 3000 RPM at one time then at 500 RPM at another. When at 500 RPM sounds like it is missing and sometimes stalls.

Idle control sensor on thr trottlebody or if eequipped; airflow meter ...off the top of my head, hope it helps.

93 Honda accord - idle real low (500 rpm) HELP, please!!

near the throttle body there is an adjusting screw(flat head) for air fuel mixture, it's on a deep cavity sometimes with a cover, adjust counterclockwise will increase the idle.

Idle too low on hot starts 2001 Avalon

Sounds like you idle air control valve is going bad. They start acting up on a hot engine due to sticking or high resistance through its internal windings. It will get to the point where the engine will stall every time you take your foot off the gas.
I suggest getting it replaced and the throttle body cleaned at the same time since it will need to be removed to replace the IAC.

Rough idle

I took mine in to change the plugs and they said there are four O2 sensors in the fuel mixture system and two were bad. I didn't replace them since they were a little pricey ($500 to replace both) and I have 103,000 on the car. Has very similar roughness and occasional oscillations, but no stalling. Hope this helps.
