I have a Burgman 400 year 2006 1st day out for the season I drove it for 4 minutes and had no problems. The next time I started it up and when I went to gain speed the RPMs were spiking up and down and it had a bucking motion when riding so I brought it back home immediately and when I went to stop it stalled. It started right back up but I didn't ride it any more.

Honda GL 400 1981 model - how much fork oil needed and what is the air space required?

Hi Guys,
I know this issues were posted a long time ago, but I am looking for advise here.

I had the gear not switching problem, with my just under three year old Burgman 650 Executive last year. It left me stranded in the motorway near Manchester, UK after paying the local mechanic 200 pounds for a diagnose I decided to transport the burgman back to London another 300 plus 500 repair cost from my dealer. Suzuki paid for the part ( A new gear box), the problem occurred again after a month but went away while at the dealer. Now I am stranded again but now in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I am really worry that my only solution is to abandon my Burgman. The dealer told me back in the UK that because it was over three years old they didn't expect Suzuki to do anything about it..... Any ideas of what I should do. The local dealer in Amsterdam told me that if they start taking the motorbike apart the cost could go over 2,500 Euros.... Maybe taking my dealer to court is my only option.... How can I prove my case so... Or is it worth trying to do the work myself... I really feel cheated by Suzuki at the moment.....

The 12 volt battery(LUCAS 065/3) on my FORD FIESTA 1100cc is 4 years old, in that time i have only driven 1,600 miles as my journeys are usually very local. I make sure i use the car twice a week to keep...

Running so few miles has accelerated the aging of the battery - the battery never had a chance to fully recharge in such small trips -  so now you have to replace it a year sooner than usual.
Just replace it.

Speedo failure on my Burgman 400 (2000)

I had the same problem, the speedo is magnetic and it is inside the front wheel bearing, usualy when dirt goes in it brakes it so
I had to replace the magneto ring and it worked perfect. I went to a private suzuki parts provider and he ordered it for me for £15.00
replaced it myself, just take the wheel out and remove the old ring, clean, then put the new one.

but it could be that your speedo cable is bad, or dashboard is bad
