Remove brake fluid resovior cap, get jar and lenght of flexable tube that will fit on bleed nipple of brake calipar, put some brake fluid in jar fit tube to bleed nipple, open nipple and put tube in jar below the surface of the fluid, apply the brake on and off while keeping the lfluid full on the bike, continue untill the new fluid has filled the system and entered the jar, hold the brake lever in when tightening the bleed nipple. test brake works, job done

I had same problem, i ended up reverse bleeding it with airline at work. Regulated pressure down to about 5 psi, then attached hose prefilled with brake fluid between bleed nipple and airline trigger and gently sqeezed trigger till fluid came out in resevoir.Helps that i work in a hose distributor and have all the hose and fitting to hand mind.

Did you split the caliper in half? If it is a split caliper there are o rings that seal the lines one side to the other... thus you misplaced the o rings and they are not sealing. I do use a c clamp to compress the pistons with the brake reservoir cap removed to let excess fluid to flow back into the champer, if full remove some with a syringe. (without the needle I get em from a buddy..)
you're in for a fun night. You need to start pumping new fluid in. Fill up the reservoir then pump the lever a couple of times to get fluid to start to flow into there. Then... you'll have to bleed them.
Pump pump pump, squeeze, open nipple, close nipple, release, pump pump pump, squeeze, open nipple, close nipple, release.
Do not let the reservoir empty out. Keep doing this until you get clean brake fluid through the lines and no bubbles. It's going to take a lot of worth though.
what to do with fluids?If your brake fluid is in need of changing do so before long-term storage. Similarly hydraulic clutch fluid should be changed before you store your bike; both systems may suffer failure if moisture gets in.
Also make sure your coolant is fresh, as deposits can form from old fluid. For service intervals, consult your owner's manual.,,,
