La Cie Biggest F800 is down

After a long period of being powered up but idle, I found my La Cie Biggest F800 raid array powered down and unresponsive. It has AC power and the switch is on. What next?

Try hitting the reset button, on some raid arrays I have had the motherboard go to sleep mode and do the same thing so if you hit the reset button it should bring it back up. if not you will have to unplug and leave unplugged for 5 minutes before static power dies out then try rebooting. you may have to do a flash of the bios and have you done any updates of late?

Detecting Array ... after updating drivers manually on Win 10

not told at all what you have.
a PC of some kind running some kind of windows PC OS or windows server not told. what.
no RAID card told.
or what RAID chip is there or MOBO used,
I this hardware RAID or software RAID
RAID mode not told, RAID 0,1,...5, 6, 10 ?? what
how may SATa drives in the ARRAY set?
what size HDD in the set (over 2TB?) each.

install w10 was told but most old PC DO NOT SUPPORT W10 at all. No PC told yet not one clue.

"nvlddmkm.sys"
this is a failing windows NVIDIA VIDEO CARD DRIVER. no video chip told or video card told.

was this PC window 7 before and are attempting w10 install.
did you buy this secret PC form others and now it fails trying to put on w10>>

best it put a SSD in this PC,if PC secret is not too old
and install w10 to the SSD and not the RAID
then when W10 is running good rebuild the RAID, last.
then if RAID fails the SSD keeps booting and RAID is vastly more easy to maintain.

NO PC told and help beyond this point is going to be weak.
need to know all hardware there. PC and all cards inside, or help will be weak or generic. ,like mine

My Mac no longer recognizes the drives

Raid 1 mirrors the disks, but they are still in an array. You need to identify which disk of the two failed. Replace the bad one and let the unit rebuild the raid if it can. This could take hours. Independently, I have not found them to work alone. They need the built raid array. I lost a ton of pictures on a 4 drive raided array that lost one drive, even though they were raided mirror.
Best bet is to see if your manufacturer will guide you through the diagnostics and procedures to restore the array for that unit.

My external La Cie 500Gig HDD has worked well for 3 years or more. Now when I connect it (via USB as aI have always done) ..The following happens: 1 I see the drive usually but not always under "My...

Hello,
your drive has failed at either the power supply level or internal hard drive level.
First, please verify your power supply. When plugged into the power outlet, it should be silent. A defective power supply will hiss or have a high pitch noise to it. If it is defective, replace it and check if the issue is resolved.
If the power supply is silent, one or both of the internal hard drive is failing. If no data is needed, you can either replace the defective one which you will have to isolate by connecting the internal hard drives to a computer or with another enclosure and running a block scan software like hdTune which is free to download. The other option would be to scavenge the healthy drive and use it in another enclosure or inside the computer directly.
If you need the data and the problem was not the power supply, you will need to contact a data recovery center.

When im instaling os system showing logical erroprimary device in found

There are three main reasons why the setup gives this error:
Your harddrive crashed or you have an raid array that is not recognized by windows, use the drivers for the raid array, some raid controllers are not recognized by default by windows, you'll need to run those drivers manualy from out the windows setup.
The controller on the motherboard is defective.

Go to the manufacturer of your computer to solve this problem.

Raid failure

Not a lot of details, but here is some basic information, assuming you have a Dell with Integrated RAID

Dimension 9150/9200 and XPS systems have RAID, depending on the model the exact troubleshooting differs. At boot, after the Dell screen, you should get the RAID status listing. RAID 0 will either be normal or failed. Raid 1 can be normal, degraded for failed.

If the RAID array was RAID 0 and one of the drives failed, then all data is lost and you'll have to create a new array then reinstall Windows and drivers

If the RAID array was RAID 1, then you may need to add the new drive to the Array, CNTL+I or CNTL+N at boot (Depending on the system model) add the new drive to the array and reboot. If the system still will not boot to Windows, then you may have a software error too with the OS.

If during troubleshooting, the array was broken in the RAID BIOS, then the array will need to be recreated and Windows/Drivers reinstalled.
